Grassroots of Tarboro

Count me in! I think it will need to start as a food-buying club, but eventually it would be great to have a physical location/storefront. If we had a Weaver Street Market or Whole Foods type grocer in town, it would attract customers from miles around. There's nothing like it east of Raleigh. Good for our town, good for our health. I'll help in any way I can.

Yes, I would love this. I spoke to the produce manager at Walmart to see if there was any chance of getting organic produce. Well basically she told me what you see is what you get. I will definitely join an organic food buying club. You can e-mail me anytime.

I would love to help in any way. I travel To Raleigh myself to go to the Whole Foods Market and know of several other town residents who do the same. For Tarboro to have something of this nature would be heaven...even if we had something on a smaller scale.
