It's time for the springtime Tarboro Townwide Yard Sale.
Each year in April and in October on the T2S weekend, the Grassroots of Tarboro coordinate the Tarboro Townwide Yard Sale.
If you are planning a yard sale this Spring, please plan it for Saturday April 11 and be a part of the Townwide Yard Sale. It costs just $10.00 to be included in the directory and have hordes of bargain hunters flock to your sale.
The Downtown Businesses will be having SIDEWALK SALES from 10:00am to 4:00pm, and joining them will be a variety of vendors. We're hoping to encourage local farmers to bring their fresh produce to sell at our T2S street fair. Frank Mehm will be back will Poppy's FREE Popcorn. We'll have balloons to add to the look and feel of the Street Fair.
Tarboro's newest business, GIMME A BEAT Dance & Cheering Studio at 103 East Church Street will be having an open house from 11am to 4pm on Saturday. Come check out the studio, register for classes and join in celebrating the GRAND OPENING. Light refreshments will be served.
The Unusual Shoppe, located at 108 East Pitt Street, will be open and having a GIGANTIC INDOOR YARD SALE in conjunction with the Tarboro Townwide Yard Sale.The Grassroots folks are manning the store and have brought in even more good stuff priced to sell at YARD SALE PRICES. There is so much that the entire first floor of the building is full. You can also enter at 305 N. Main Street. There will be lots of cool collectibles, antiques, furniture, books, clothing, vintage and unusual items. Great profitable stuff for Ebay sellers. New stuff, old stuff, all kinds of stuff. Salebegins at 7:00 am and ends at 2:00 pm.Proceeds to benefit the the new Community Hub Project.
